I Guarantee You’ll Never Look At Your House The Same

You know what's extremely interesting to me is how a fresh paint job can change the way you see and treat your home.

I’ve had some of the most detailed final walkthroughs with homeowners on their homes that they will sometimes pull out a magnifying glass to check for imperfections.

Now, that's not fun for the paint contractor but for the homeowner they have really put their home on a new pedestal. WHICH IS GREAT.

If not to that extreme, they find themselves creating new projects to be done on their homes to complement the transformation.

And don't get me started on the kids, they better not even look at the walls crazy or they'll see themselves on a early college start.

You see before the new paint job, you may have grown accustomed to the way your home looked.

You may not have noticed the small details that could have used some

sprucing up.

You never noticed the cluster of hand marks up the stairway, or the welcoming scuff marks right by your entryway and front door.

But after a new paint job, you'll find yourself noticing things you never noticed before.

The new paint luster may highlight a small crack in the wall that you never even noticed before. Well the painters should take care of that but you get my point.

Or if you only got walls painted then it may/will make the baseboards look dingy and outdated.

Suddenly, you're seeing your home in a different light, and it's forcing you to look at it with a more critical eye.

It's similar to getting new clothes. When you buy new clothes, you feel different about yourself. You try your best to stay clean and presentable because you want to keep that feeling of newness.

The same goes for a new paint job on your home. You may find yourself being more mindful of keeping things tidy and organized because you want to maintain that feeling of newness.

And there's not anything wrong with that. You know what they say , cleanliness is next to godliness.
